- Patent/copyright laws create from thin air "ownership" to reward
inventors/writers, but wealthy or corporate interests usually end up with the good ones
and gain wealth by making citizens pay a "user tax[royalty]" for the use of
patented goods or copyrighted music. Hugh "feudal lord" fortunes were made
the same way in land. Gov., instead of a king, grants (copyright and patent) monopolies.
The monopoly owners generate huge revenues (a user tax collected directly by the
copyright/patent owners instead of by the IRS) from the government grants and Gov.
agencies enforce grant owners right to collect the privatized tax called
